The Power to the People website is a platform for people to run for Congress or President as an independent. In order to use our platform and to get our members vote, you must agree to help prioritize and implement our propositions and agenda. See ‘this link’ for our propositions and expectations for our candidates. The federal fee to be placed on the ballet as an independent is $5000. Our members will help you with that fee so there is no out of pocket cost for you. The current salary for this position is $174,000/year plus benefits which include healthcare and a housing stipend. You will have to live in DC 5 months out of the year. Because we want to increase competition for these positions as well as attract top talent, we are willing to increase the salary once we see that some good folks are running. We want the best and the brightest and the hardest working folks in these positions. People with good ideas. For this, we are willing to increase the pay of congress to $400,000/year. We want someone who is willing to put in the hard work.

Run for President
The Power to the People website is a platform for people to run for President as an independent. In order to use our platform and to get our members vote, you must agree to help prioritize and implement our propositions and agenda. See ‘this link’ for our propositions and expectations for our candidates. The federal fee to be placed on the ballet as an independent presidential candidate varies by state. We will help you raise that money so there will be no out of pocket cost for you. In addition, you must have a certain number of signatures. You can use this platform to gather the signatures. That is all you need to do. You do not need to quit your current job. You do not need to travel to Iowa to debate. That is only for Republic and Democratic candidates. You do not need to campaign or get support from any lobby groups. You do not need to pay for expensive ads on TV. All you need to do is post your resume on this platform.
The current salary for this position is $400,000/year plus benefits which includes healthcare. Your housing costs will be taken care of since you will get to live in the White House. You will also receive 50,000 a year for expenses as well as a 100,000/year travel account and a 19,000 entertainment account. Because we want to increase competition for these positions as well as attract top talent, we are willing to increase the salary once we see that some good folks are running. We want the best and the brightest and the hardest working folks in these positions. People with good ideas. For this, we are willing to increase the pay of president to $800,000/year. We want someone who is willing to put in the hard work. In addition, you will receive an annual pension for live equal to the pay for a cabinet secretary, which is currently $246,424.
